If you need more help with spawning amethyst, we have a detailed guide on our blog - click here to visit that page. There exists an exploit in the game where, if the player includes any item ID in their name, anytime that name is said, it will spawn the item that belongs to that ID. For example, the Legend fish has an ID of 163. Whenever you speak to a villager that says your name in dialogue (for example Gus at the Stardrop Saloon) you will be given the amethyst item. Different items in Stardew Valley have different number values. If you do wish to use this method, first set your character's name to when creating your save. You can only set your character's name once, at the start of the game (when you create your world), for this reason we recommend you use the animal name method. Gus says your name quite often when you talk to him, or Clint. ![]() If you know the right ID you can name yourself 24 to summon a parsnip whenever someone says your name or 289 to get an ostrich egg. ![]() ![]() To spawn this item using an animal's name, visit Marnie's Ranch, speak to Marnie and purchase an animal (we recommend a chicken as it is cheapest). If you set your character's name to be 123 with a number in square-brackets then whenever someone says your name it spawns the item with that ID. Spawning items in Stardew Valley is not done via commands, but rather through a cheat in which you must set your character's name, or the name of an animal, to the item code of the item you wish to spawn surrounded by.
